Being very passionate about health and fitness for its positive benefits, she knew she needed to incorporate something into her workout routine that brought calmness to her mind. Searching for a sense of peace in her life, she decided to give yoga a try. She discovered that yoga provided the body with a good workout but also gave her a body, mind and breath connection—a sense of trusting yourself and listening to your body. After taking a few yoga classes, she felt inspired to deepen her practice and share with others what yoga provided for her: peace, clarity and strength, both physical and mental. In the fall of 2023 she decided to pursue her 200 hour yoga teaching certification and completed her training in March 2024. She also recently finished her kids yoga certification and plans on bringing yoga to her career as a children’s librarian.
